About me.
My name is Hannah Kendaru (she/her), I am an Indonesian British Breathwork therapist and teacher. My work is rooted in breath as both a personal and ancestral practice—one that connects us to ourselves, to our histories, and to the ever-moving present.
But introductions are more than names and titles, let me introduce myself in the fullest of ways.
I am the daughter of volcanoes and rivers, of palm trees and potatoes, of roses and lilies. I come from a lineage of healers, seers, voyagers, of farmers and fishermen.
I am also the daughter of militants and military men, of divorce and deep love, of exploitation and capitalism, of empire and resistance. I carry the stories of both those who have taken and those who have lost.
But I am also the daughter of butterflies and hummingbirds, of woodpeckers, of the rain and the sun.
I carry these histories, as do you. And in breath, we meet them, honour them, and find our way forward.
Course Structure:
Week 1: Create a Foundation
Every transition begins with a foundation. This week, you’ll explore who you are beneath the shifting tides, grounding yourself in clarity and presence before stepping into change.
Week 2: Accepting Your Now
Just as the ocean must draw back before a wave rises, change requires space. For something to come in, we must first create space. For something to be born, something must die. You will learn how to create space for what is to come.
Week 4: The Compass for Change
You are not meant to follow the maps of others. This session will bring you into your own direction, one that aligns with your unique rhythm, vision, and purpose.
This session helps you create your own inner compass, guiding you toward your next chapter with confidence and trust in your direction.
Week 3: Developing Your Inner Guidance
Change can shake the foundations we once believed unmovable. This session helps you connect with your inner counsel, ensuring that your next step comes from authenticity, rather than driven by ego.
Week 5: The Legacy That Lives Within You
We are bound by intergenerational and historical experiences in our lineage. We may be living the paths of our parents, grandparents and ancestors. In this session, you’ll uncover who in your lineage walks beside you, who does not, and how to give them permission to those you want guidance from.
Week 6: Embodying The Change
We’ve been conditioned to resist growth, often developing patterns of self-sabotage, protection, and resistance that keep us small. We are taught to remain unchanged. But true transformation requires us to not only accept change but to fully embody it—allowing it to reach every single cell in our body. In this session, we step into transformation with intention.

Throughout history, rituals have helped us mark change, guiding us through endings and beginnings with intention. Yet, in a world that prioritises productivity over reflection, many of these rituals have been lost—along with the songs, rhythms, and traditions that once connected us to the cycles of life.
Without these practices, transitions can feel unmoored. We may find ourselves carrying old patterns into new chapters, unable to brace our bodies for change.
Change happens, but without reverence, we risk sabotaging our own growth—repeating what we were meant to outgrow. We risk carrying our previous versions of ourselves, heavy on our shoulders.

Through live, online group breathwork therapy, you’ll explore the process of transition—not just as something to endure, but as something to honour, to close the previous chapter and surrender to the next.
This ceremony is a culmination of 12 years of my own practice.
This program is delivered as workshops and breathwork sessions, practical exercises, and 1-to-1 peer support. This is delivered by Hannah Kendaru, a certified breathwork trainer.
